Writing in the Sand/Dirt tutorial

This tutorial is for Photoshop Elements but can be done very similar in Photoshop itself.

Step 1: Open up photo that you would like to edit.
File>Open>Photo

Step 2: Choose Horizontal Type Tool, choose font, choose color and type where you want your writing to appear in the sand or dirt.

Step 3: Goto Effects>Bevels then choose pillow emboss and drop shadows.

Step 4: Go to the layers styles to change some of the dimensions of the writing.
Step 5: play with the settings you will play with them a few times to get them to look realistic. This is what I used.

Step 6: Change the Opacity

Step 7: Simplify Layer

Step 8: Now change the perspective of your layer

Step 9: Now you will play with the box to make it look as real as you can.

Photoshop - Beach

I did these next two photos for a friend of mine. We went to Playa for vacation and they had a nice photo shoot while there.

I will attach tutorials in the next few days to these photos so you will know how to create them yourself.

I did this in photoshop elements 6

1st Photo is writing in the sand technique

2nd Photo is Black and White with a touch of color

Both pretty simple once you get it.

Another Invitation Set

This is the second invitation I did for an SCS swap. I like this one its simple but elegant. I can picture it on very shimmered paper it would look so pretty. I used Boroque Motifs as the stamp set. Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie. I used a versamark B&W technique on the thank you. I turned the photo into black and white. Then I took the versamark pen and put it on the flowers where I wanted to add color. You will see I added colors orange and brown with pastels on the flowers. Its as simple as that. I call it the photoshop for stampers technique.
I also used the half pearls in the pretties kit to give it the pop that it deserves. I think if I did this as a real invitation and not a swap, I would have to find something else to use for the pearl part. I love the way this came out.

PocketFold Invitation

Pocket Fold Invitation set I created for a SCS swap.
I used Lovely Lilac Designer Paper and Cardstock.
I cut the template for the pocket fold using my cricut machine and the design software. On the front I normally would have done a pretty monogram using computer software, but because it was a Stampin Up swap I decided to use fine cosmo glitter.
I like the way this came out for the first time doing an invitation.
